Digest and Re-energize Smoothie

I love having this smoothie first thing in the morning or when digestion feels slightly sluggish. It is packed full of antioxidants and digestive aids, which help improve mood, energy levels and ease bloating, wind and constipation. Pistachios in particular are a great source of fiber which feed and nourish your gut bacteria. Matcha is a potent antioxidant amongst other things. This baby is certainly not for the faint hearted but I promise you she tastes delish and the rewards you get from nourishing yourself with this blend is well worth the effort.

1/2 -1 tsp Change Chai Matcha Green tea (or combine ginger, black pepper, matcha green tea, cinnamon, cardamom)
1/2 red grapefruit (with pith)
1/4 cup coconut Cream
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1 tbsp pistachio nuts
1/2 lemon (juice, flesh and pith)
1/4 cup baby Spinach leaves
1/2 tsp vanilla bean Powder (I use organic vanilla by 180nutrition)
1 Scoop 180 nutrition superfood protein blend (vegan coconut)

Blend all ingredients together and enjoy.
