Peanut Maca Smoothie

Oh wow, this smoothie is my new favourite. It's creamy, delicious and guess what so packed full of antioxidants ,vitamins and minerals such as magnesium, calcium and iron. How? Well it contains the superfood Maca, cacao and macadamia nuts. Macadamias are also a great source of healthy fats and even has around the same amount of the health promoting monounsaturated fat, oleic acid as olives.

Too many reasons to try it. 🙂

1 tbsp macadamia nuts

1 tbsp organic peanut butter (or favourite nut butter)

1/2 ripe pear

2-3 coriander seeds

1/4 cup baby spinach

1/2 cucumber

1 tsp fresh ginger

1 scoop 180nutrition superfood protein (vegan coconut)

1 tsp maca powder

1 tsp cacao (I use organic cacao by 180nutrition)

Handful of ice-cubes

1/2 cup purified water



Blend all ingredients together and enjoy.
