I love pizza but the belly often does not love the gluten that comes from a conventional pizza base. I am not a fan of deprivation and never like to miss out which is why Cauliflower base pizza is the perfect healthy alternative....You will love this hearty pizza. Get create with your toppings and enjoy.
Dairy, sugar & gluten free
Base
Small head of cauliflower
2 Eggs
2 tbsp Nutritional yeast (I use Braggs)
1 tbsp Chia seeds (ground)
1 tbsp Coconut flour
1 tsp Rosemary
1 tsp Thyme
1/2 tsp Himalayan salt
Topping
250g Organic Lamb mince (lightly browned in coconut oil)
1 tbsp Nutritional Yeast
1/2 cup kale (massage with Himalayan salt & Olive oil to wilt)
1/2 Red Capsicum
1/2 White onion, sliced (lightly pan fried in coconut oil)
1/2 cup Olives (roughly chopped)
Method
Chop cauliflower head into small pieces, then blend.
Lightly steam the blended cauliflower for approx 3 mins. Then blend again until a smooth consistency is achieved.
Mix all other base ingredients together.
Press the dough like base into a round or square pizza base.
Pop in pre heated oven at 200 degrees for 15-20 mins or until golden.
Pop the toppings onto the base, sprinkle with Nutritional yeast to give it a cheesy flavour.
Bake in oven for another 15-20mins.
